Agustin Castro

Agustin Castro, 56, of Jackson, Mo., passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his home.  Born in El Paso, Texas, on November 12, 1965, he was the son of Roberto and Lupe Teran Castro.  He and Tonya Davis Lunsford were married on March 16, 2013.  She survives.

He was a heavy equipment operator at Capital Sand Proppants since 2016, where he loved his job and gave it his best.  Fishing and camping were favorite hobbies, but being with “his lady” was his best time.

Besides his wife he is survived by three sons:  Alex Lunsford (Tiffeny Lindley) of Fredricktown, Mo., Jacob Lunsford (Alyssa Myers) of Marquand, Mo, and Eli Lunsford of Jackson; a daughter, Valerie Castro of Dallas, Texas; two brothers:  Leo Castro and Beto Castro, both of Dallas; four sisters:  Sandra Cantu, Lisa Hernandez, Amy Castro, and Rose Castro, all of Dallas; and eight grandchildren.  His parents and a sister, Margaret Castro, predeceased him.

Visitation and memorial services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.  Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Services will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Kenneth Trentham will officiate.
