Alicia Ann Rhodes

Alicia Ann Rhodes passed away at her home in Glen Allen, on August 15, 2024, at the age of 43. She was born in Cape Girardeau on September 14, 1980, to Milford and Brenda (Keith) Rhodes. Alicia attended Woodland High School, before she ventured out on her life’s journey.

Ms. Rhodes was very fond of fireworks and loved to celebrate the 4th of July. The fireworks always caught her attention, but spending time with family is what made the holidays complete. She always had a love for little kids and babies, and when her children and grandchildren came along, that love grew in great lengths. Alicia like to be outdoors looking for arrowheads, camping and spending time in the creeks. She had a garden she tended meticulously and loved her tomatoes. She had a passion for animals and was always willing to save the pets she found. You could find her at yard sales and goodwill always trying to find the best bargains.

Survivors include her mother: Brenda Rhodes; children: Devinn Howell, Kayla (Braidyn Rister) Rhodes, Kendra Rhodes; siblings: Darryl (Connie) Rhodes, Kevin (Missi) Rhodes, Angie (Jimmy) Moore; granddaughter: Josephine Rister; and her dog: Rain.

She was preceded in death by her father: Milford Rhodes; aunt: Marie Rhodes; cousin: Jessica Keith. 

Pallbearers will be Braidyn Rister, Jaghan Cook, Conner Rhodes, Shannon Barber, Ian Moore and Dylan Rhodes. Honorary Pallbearers are Lacey Barber, Riley Moore, Hailey Rhodes, MaKenzie Brown and Corrina Rhodes.

Services for Alicia will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Visitation from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm, with Bro. Kevin Stroup officiating. Burial will follow at the Glen Allen Cemetery. The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill is assisting the family.
