Anthony "Tony" Beussink Obituary

Anthony Herbert Beussink, known and loved by everyone as “Tony”, gained his heavenly angel wings on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the age of 12. He was born on April 26, 2012, in Cape Girardeau, to Matthew and Courtney (Wesbecher) Beussink. Tony attended the sixth grade at Leopold Elementary School but was lucky enough to see all the classrooms every day. He loved his classmates, and knew they loved him. He really enjoyed spending time with all his friends, teachers and aides at LHS.

Tony found much enjoyment in playing outside on the trampoline, swimming, watching Disney movies, and doing puzzles. He also loved showing those closest to him how much he knew while spelling with them. He was a thrill seeker and loved to ride rollercoasters. Tony’s greatest love was to be with his parents and his two older brothers. He loved spending time with his family, and he loved to snuggle. Tony had a smile that could light up a room and if he smiled at you, you couldn’t help but smile right back.

Many days of Tony’s life were spent with an amazing group of people who were always on his team. Recently, Melena and Jolie had days with Tony and his parents and brothers had nights and weekends. The amount of love and blessings shown by all of those who helped Tony along his way is greatly appreciated by his family. Tony’s team has changed over the years but was always filled with love…a love that most people never get to experience.

He is survived by his parents: Matthew and Courtney Beussink; brothers: Tommy and Jacob Beussink; grandparents: Ronnie and Pam Wesbecher and Betty Beussink; aunts and uncles: Joan (John) McWilliams, Julie (Harlan) Elfrink, Susie Brandel, Nancy Keim, Ann Glass, Kelly (Brent) Schreiner, Cole (Janice) Wesbecher; numerous cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Fred Beussink.
