Betty Sue Hendrix, 75, of St. Genevieve, MO, passed away on February 27, 2024, at her home. She was born on July 5, 1948, to the late Cecil Earl and Dorothy Louise (Wade) Middleton, in Luray, TN.
Betty was an avid reader, she loved to read romance, mystery and drama stories. She enjoyed her diet cokes above all beverages. She loved to travel and spend time with her son. Betty had a green thumb. She had many house plants and flower gardens.
Betty and Tim McCain met in April of 1992 and remained inseparable through the years. They lived in Sikeston, MO, where they met, prior to moving to St. Genevie. They played cards, watched tv and loved to be around each other.
She is survived by her partner of 32 years: Tim McCain of St. Genevie, MO; and one son: Rickey Lynn Hendrix of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Steven and Fred Middleton.
The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO, is assisting the family during this time. No services have been made.
