Betty Ruth Strong, 85, of Marble Hill, passed away on April 30, 2026, at the Stonebridge Senior Living Facility. She was born on August 10, 1940, to the late Hubert Clayton and Ruby Horn in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Betty spent several years of her life working as a CNA. She had many hobbies with her many friends at the senior living facility. She loved to play bingo, cards and crossword searches. Betty loved to spend time with all the residents.
She is survived by her children: Brad Nielsen, Brenda Nielsen, Kelly Omodt, Merri Mungle and Wendy Gill; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Russ; and one great grandchild.
The family would like to thank the staff at Stonebridge Senior Living and Crown Hospice for the exceptional care they provided for Betty.
The Pendergrass Funeral Home is assisting with Betty’s final wishes of cremation. No services have been made at this time.
