Billy Wayne Massey, 86, of Marble Hill, passed away at his home on April 2, 2025. He was born in Paragould, Arkansas on October 10, 1938, to the late Thomas “Edd” Massey and Berdie Mae Carter.
Mr. Massey and Ms. Patsy Godwin were united in marriage on August 18, 1956. They celebrated 68 years of marriage before her passing on September 18, 2024.
Billy worked for Crader Distributing in Marble Hill for over 30 years as a Service Supervisor and Mechanic. After retiring, he started Heartland Service Center and worked as a mechanic for several years. He enjoyed raising a garden with his wife and working his cattle farm.
Survivors include his son: Garry Massey; brothers: Don (Barbara) Massey, Eddie (Iva) Massey; grandchildren: Eric (Rachel) Massey, Kelly Brotherton, Amanda Loughary, Brittney (Rusty) Smith; great grandchildren: Hunter, Hope, Nathan, Nicholas, Jaden, Jasmine, Justice, Joilee, Braylen, Stacey, Novalee, Courtney and Shain; great great grandson: Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Patsy; sons: Stacey Todd Massey, Ronald Ray Massey; siblings: Jack Fields, Gene Massey, Jimmy Massey and Dorothy Stroud; and one grandson.
Services will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Bro. Bud Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery.
