Bobbie Lou Dittlinger, 79, of Marble Hill, passed away on June 13, 2026, at the Stonebridge Senior Living Center. She was born July 18, 1946, in DeRidder, Louisiana, to the late Lansing and Lucille (Whittington) Adams.
Bobbie was blessed with a strong Southern spirit and a stubborn pride. She found joy in tending her garden, nurturing the beauty around her with the same care she gave to the people she loved. Taking care of others was not only a calling but also her life's work. For more than 20 years, she worked in in-home health care, providing comfort, compassion, and support to countless individuals and families. Her kindness and selfless nature left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Bobbie also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Rosie, whose companionship brought her great happiness.
She is survived by her children: Jim Williams, Carl Eckhoff Jr., Robert Eckhoff, Larry Eckhoff, Tracy Deck; siblings: Lawrence Adams, Dianne Adams Nolen; grandchildren: Zachary, Laura, Kristen, Andrew, Amanda, Audrey, Desirae, Laryssa, Katie Jo, Jimmy, Ashley; and 20+ great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Charles Parker, Betty Neidlinger and Jesse Adams.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Lorimer Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, at 11:00 am. The Pendergrass Funeral Home is assisting with Bobbie’s arrangements.
