Brenda Kay (Davis) Taylor

Brenda Kay Taylor, 54, of Park Hills, MO, passed away on October 30, 2023, at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born on March 7, 1969 to the late George and Betty (Hutchinson) Davis in Carbondale, IL.

She spent many years in Oklahoma, prior to returning to Southeast Missouri. Brenda worked for Fisher Auto Parts in Jackson, MO for many years, and later worked as a nurse in home healthcare. She loved to ride horses and motorcycles. Brenda enjoyed being outdoors. She would take walks, hikes and even known to go to the zoo. She spent a lot of time doing arts and crafts, and making tie-dye clothes.

Brenda was recently baptized in the Christian faith. After spending many years away from family, she mended a lot of fences, and soul searched when she moved back to Missouri. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by: one son: Ronald (Ciara) Fisher Jr. of Farmington, MO; two daughters: Amber Fisher of Hickory, KY, Tina Barlow of Anna, IL; two brothers: George Davis Jr. of Cape Girardeau, MO, Jeff Barlow of Anna, IL; two sisters: Becky (Shawn) Corbett of Norris City, IL, Lori (Jimmy) Partain of Anna, IL; seven grandchildren: Haylee, Presley, Maddie, Harmony, Neaveh,, Kaiden and Evelyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother: Johnny Lee.

The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri is assisting the family during this time. A Memorial Service has been set for Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 4:00 PM, at the Life Church of Farmington, MO.
