Calvin Lee Fisher Sr.

Calvin Lee Fisher Sr., of Marble Hill, MO, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, in Festus, MO, at Mercy Hospital. Calvin Sr. was born on May 4, 1958, to the late Charles and Mary (Whitehead) Fisher, in Dexter, MO. He was baptized at the Solid Rock Church in Marble Hill, MO.

He attended Woodland High School in Marble Hill, MO. Calvin worked as a pallet mill laborer, and then was employed by McCormick Tire in Marble Hill for many years. He later became a licensed water treatment inspector for the City of Marble Hill. He also had a number of odd jobs through the years which included, mowing and digging graves at the Baker Cemetery and was known to help out at Baker Funeral Home. Skilled as a mechanic, Calvin was very good at fixing vehicles. When he wasn’t working, he loved spending time with his wife and family, going hunting and being a grandpa.  

On August 8th, 1975 in Lutesville, MO, Calvin and June Warner were united in marriage at the Lutesville Assemble of God.

Calvin is survive by his wife June Fisher and three sons: Calvin (Julie) Fisher Jr. of Cape Girardeau, MO, Dustin (Tabbatha) Fisher of Panama City Beach, FL, Randy (RaeAnn) Warner of Advance, MO; four brothers: Ricky Fisher of Marble Hill, MO, Michael (Gene) Fisher of Glen Allen, MO, Charles Fisher of Marble Hill, MO, Ronald (Lisa) Fisher of Dongola, IL; one sister: Pam (Dennis) Willis of Marble Hill, MO; six grandchildren: Austin, Aubrey, Gracelynn, Dustin Wyatt, Kaleigh, and Parker; two bonus grandchildren: Trinity and Emm; one great grandchild: Ridley; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother Jerry Fisher.

Services will be held at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri, on Monday, June 12, 2023. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 PM.
