Carrie Lynn Puig, 49, of Leopold, Mo., was born in St. Louis, Mo., on April 2, 1972, the daughter of the late Harvey Turner and Carolyn Elizabeth Sanders Havens, Sr. She departed from earthly life on September 14, 2021, from Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She earned an Associates Degree in Computer Technology, but spent most of her working years within the food service industry.
On June 26, 2010, she married Guillermo Bill Puig at Marble Hill, Mo. Carrie and Bill resided near Grassy, Mo. Bill preceded Carrie in death on May 19, 2011.
Carrie is survived by a son, Michael (Renee) Havens of Perryville, Mo; a brother, Harvey Havens, Jr. of Texas; and two sisters: Catherine (Johnny) Niswonger of Jackson, Mo. and Nola Plumb of Tennessee.
Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo. Burial will be scheduled at a later time at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
