Charlene G (DeHart) Chadd

Charlene G Chadd of Glen Allen, Missouri, died on October 5, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.  Born on August 20, 1940, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Dale Dereti and Sadie Elizabeth Martin DeHart.

She and Ronald Chadd, Sr. celebrated 63 years of marriage.  To their union four sons were born.  She was a caring and faithful homemaker, and enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, knitting, and growing flowers.  Moores Chapel near Marquand was her church family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Chadd, Sr.; by her four sons:  Ronald Chadd, Jr., Patrick Chadd, Darrel Chadd and Andrew (Linda) Chadd; by two special daughters:  Teresa Cowell and Karen Boillot; a brother, Donald DeHart, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Five sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until noon.  Services will begin at noon with the Rev. Bobby Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glen Allen, Mo.
