Charlene Ann (Jones) Hovis

Charlene Ann Hovis, 63, of Marble Hill, Mo., died August 25, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.  Born on January 6, 1958, in Perryville, Mo., she was the daughter of Leroy and Joan Bangert Jones.  She and Delmar Hovis married on August 18, 1979.  He survives.
She worked many years for the Houston (Texas) Postal Credit Union.  Her favorite past-times included making jewelry, eating Chinese food, and loving on her dog, Charlie.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her husband, Delmar Hovis; by a brother, Harlan Jones of Houston, Texas; and by two Godchildren, Brittany Lopez and Rafael Lopez, both of Texas.
A memorial service will be scheduled in the future at Grassy Friendship Cemetery.  Hutchings Funeral Chapel assisted the family.
