Charles “Charlie” Albert Propst, 64, of Greenbrier, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family and friends, on June 4, 2024. He was born in Advance, on December 14, 1959, to the late Charles and Shirley Jean (Rogers) Propst.
Charlie worked as a swimming pool contractor for several years and was known as the pool man. He loved his life on the Castor River. He enjoyed hanging out with all his friends and spending time cooking at the family gatherings. He was the leader of the pack at all the parties and often referred to as “Good Time Charlie”. Charles had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone.
Mr. Propst and Rebecca Freeman were married on July 23, 2007, in Stoddard County. Charlie and Becky loved spending time together and cherished all the great moments through their 16 years together.
Survivors include: his wife: Rebecca Propst; three sons: Derek Threatt, Zachary Propst, Zachary Findley; one daughter: Jessica (Daniel) Vandeven; two sisters: Kathy Miller, Charlotte Propst; four grandchildren: Weslie Findley (his favorite), Hunter Propst, Skyler and Aiden Vandeven; and numerous friends.
He was preceded by his parents; two brothers: Danny and Dennis Propst; and one sister: Melinda Propst.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm, with Bro. Jason Myers officiating.
