Chester Lee Dillon, 82, of Marble Hill, passed away at his home on April 4, 2025. He was born in Butler County, on October 13, 1942, to the late Chester Dillon Sr. and Mary Olive. He served in the United States Army as a cook, stateside during the Vietnam War.
Chester Dillon and Phyllis Louise Gullett were united in marriage on April 19, 1975. They loved life together and raised two daughters. Phyllis passed in October of 2017, after 42 years of marriage.
Mr. Dillon worked as a mechanic most of his life. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Chester was a devoted husband, amazing father, loving papa. He loved to serve the Lord and attended New Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters: Angela (Cocoa) Sio of Flintstone, GA, Jennifer Winberry of Jackson, MO; grandchildren: Logan Winberry of Poplar Bluff, Landon Sio, Lance Winberry, Dillon Sio, Samantha Sio, Mattie Bulger.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel. Visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm, with Bro. Steve Vester officiating. Burial will follow at Hurricane Fork Cemetery.
