Clarence Edward Wilfong, 91, passed away on December 1, 2024, in Fredericktown, at Stockhoff Nursing Home. He was born on July 11, 1933, in McGee, to the late Thomas and Martha (Carver) Wilfong.
Mr. Wilfong and Bessie Glover were united in marriage on October 21, 1961. She passed away on May 30, 2009.
Clarence was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, doing puzzle books and watching car and lawn mower races. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Clarence also enjoyed gardening and spending time on his front porch.
He is survived by a son: Jody Wilfong; sister: Shirley Barkley; grandchildren: Kayla Craft, Kelsey Dockins, Nicole Dennis, Chelsea Starkey, Ricky Castulik, Kelly Dambach, Kerrie Cureton, Sam Toland; several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Bessie Wilfong; two daughters: Vicky Skaggs, Jennie Haffner; siblings: Ben, Coy, Less, Cletus, Milford, Wendell, Ken and Evie.
Services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm, with Bro. Phillip Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at McGee New Hope Cemetery near McGee, Missouri.
