Colleen "Sissy" Ann Cureton

Colleen “Sissy” Ann Cureton, 68, of Marble Hill, passed away on July 5, 2024, at her home. She was born on June 18, 1956, to the late Robert and Leoma (Skaggs) Cureton, in Lutesville.

Sissy liked to go hunting and fishing. She enjoyed bowling and playing pool in her younger years, and she always liked her money. Colleen was a hardworker, from the time she got out of school until she wasn’t able, she could always hold her own. She loved to spending time with her grandson and her great grandchildren.

She is survived by one brother: Paul “Bead” Cureton; sisters: Aleen (Roger) Gromer, Modean Schaefers; grandson: Christopher (Janielle) Cureton; great grandchildren: CJ, Alex and Raelynn Cureton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings: Bobby Gene, Troy Lee, Pauline, Joe and Roy Cureton.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery.
