Cora Diane (Long) Green

Cora Diane Green, 39, of Marble Hill, passed away on May 23, 2024, at her home. She was born in Cape Girardeau, on November 30, 1984, to Fred Long and Debbie Abernathy. She attended New Bethel School in Marble Hill.

Cora enjoyed being outdoors. She liked to go fishing and wander in the creeks with her family and she loved to go to the rodeos with her sons. Cora liked to paint and renovate various things, but the demolition was her favorite part. She had a huge heart and would help anyone that needed it.

Survivors include: her father: Fred Long; three sons: Jeremy and Wesley Green, Waylon Nielsen; two daughters: Sidney (David) Jansen, Lindsey Green; brothers: Iain Long, Chris Lord; sisters: Terrica Fairbanks, Jazzmyn Long; one grandchild: David Jansen III.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Debbie Abernathy.

Pallbearers will be Jason Nielsen, Kelly Bollinger, Iain Long, David Jansen, Cody Nielsen, and Will Wissinger. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wesley Green, Waylon Nielsen, J.J. Green, KP and Ty Bollinger.

Services will be held at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 PM. Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at McGee Chapel Cemetery.
