Darell Wayne Kennedy

Darell Wayne Kennedy, 61, of Advance, Missouri, passed away on April 20th, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1963, to Alfred and Alta Lorene (Myers) Kennedy, in Advance, at E.C. Masters Clinic.

Darell lived in Advance most of his life. He was an avid and awesome guitar player from an early age. He loved loud rock and roll music. He was happy to teach anyone to play.  He was often seen jamming on his porch and would take requests from anyone who would stop by. Darell was also a very good craftsman and could build anything you requested.

Darell was looking forward to becoming a grandpa this year. He never met a stranger and loved to talk to anyone. 

Survivors include his two children: Dustin Kennedy of Advance, Amber (Tucker Eldridge) of New Castle, Colorado; siblings: Shirley Watkins, Nancy Swan, Gary (Brenda) Kennedy, Linda (Jerry) Bell, Mary Ann (Keith) Stevens, Carol Sue (John) Statler, Eddie (Lynda) Kennedy, James Kennedy and David Kennedy; and hundreds of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Larry Kennedy; nephews: James Burnett Jr. and Jody Markham.

A Memorial Service will be held at Umfleet Park in Advance, Missouri, on April 26th, at 1:00 pm. Any friends of Darell’s are welcome to come.
