David Alan Maxfield

David Alan Maxfield, 60, Glen Allen, Missouri passed away April 12, 2022 at St Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

David was born May 11, 1961, in Granite City, Illinois to Larry and Charleen (Leary) Maxfield.  He was a graduate of Granite City High School and listed in the U.S. Navy following graduation.

As a steel mill worker for the majority of his life, David also spent his later years as a roofer for Alton Roofing.  Hunting, fishing and being outdoors was a big part of David’s life. He was also a member of Moore’s Chapel Church in Marquand, Missouri.

Survivors include; his mother: Charleen Maxfield; a brother: Jim (Anne) Maxfield of Maryville, Illinois; a sister: Connie (Steven) Garland of Collinsville, Illinois and many friends and relatives.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri will be assisting with the arrangements.
