David Eric Zink

David Eric Zink, 58, of Marble Hill, Mo., died at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo., on August 31, 2020.  Born in Waterford, Connecticut, on November 20, 1961, he was the son of Walfried Erick and Helene Simone Aubin Zink.  He married Kathy Johnston on July 21, 1990.  They were married for several years, and she was the love of his life.  He had one daughter, Samantha Zink, who he searched for all his years.  Dave was an amazing man with an incredible loving heart, full of humor and kindness to all.
He is survived by a step sister, Nancy Sherman; two nephews, Anthony and Matthew Jennings; a niece, Christina Jennings; three aunts:  Kathy, Marlen, and Nancy; and many cousins.  Missing him very much is his extended family:  Kelly and Iain Long, Sandra Stiltner, Jamie Elledge, Wilbur Bell, Milton Mehas, Jeremy and Cameron Schweigert, Rylee Stiltner, and Rachel Vance.
A private memorial celebration will be held at a future date.  Hutchings Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
