Debra Kay Eldridge, 57, of Grassy, Mo., died at her home on December 4, 2021. Born in Cape Girardeau, Mo., on February 9, 1964, she was the daughter of Russell Carl and Doris Yvonne Golden Eldridge, Sr.
She was the loving mother of three children: Roy (Donna) Eldridge of Jackson, Mo., Dawn Cureton of Gray Ridge, Mo., and Bonnie Eldridge of Cape Girardeau, Mo. She is remembered as keeping an immaculate house, a well-raked yard, and giving much to family and those in need.
Besides her children survivors include her father, Russell Eldridge, Sr. of Grassy; a sister, Bonnie Eldridge of Canton, Ga, two brothers: Marvin and Terry Eldridge, both of Grassy; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her mother, three brothers: Butch Eldridge, Farryl Eldridge and Joe Eldridge; a husband, Tomboy Mitchell; and a nephew, Billy Hoover.
Visitation and a funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. and burial will follow in Grassy Friendship Cemetery at Grassy.
