Denver Wayne Cook

Denver W. Cook 70 years old of Marble Hill, MO died Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born March 5, 1953 at the Webb Place in Scopus, MO to John H. Cook and Lela Fern Cook Cory.

He married Kelly J. (Fulbright) Cook on October 6, 1984. Loving father of Molly (Craig) Davidson, Betsy (Austin) Wilkinson, and Hattie (Daylan) Davis.  Proud Pappaw of Cassidy Davidson, Trevor Davidson. Corbin, Collin, Colby and Canyon Sites. Rhyen, Maverick, and Sawyer Davis and two great granddaughters Caroline Cossiboom and Tatum Davidson.

He is survived by his mother, his father-in-law Rev. Jimmie Fulbright, two brothers, Kenny (Vicki) Cook of McCleansboro, IL and Randy (Connie) Cook of Burfordville, MO, Brother-in-law Bodie (Dana) Fulbright and sister-in-laws Karla (Kevin) Robinson, Kimberly (Randy) Keith, Kristy (Eric) Mayfield all of Marble Hill and he was loved by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Denver was preceded in death by his father, his stepfather James Cory, Grandparents Rev. Elza J. and Hattie Cook, Grandparents Rev. Odell and Birdie Cook, and mother-in-law Shirley A. Fulbright and sister-in-law Kathy A. Fulbright.

Denver was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved hunting, fishing and shooting skeet. But more than anything, he loved spending time with all his kids and grandkids.  He attended Haynes Chapel Church and loved the Lord with his whole heart.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 16 at Hutchings-Pendegrass Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO from 4-8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church at 11:00am. Officiants will be Rev. Junior Davis and Rev. Steven Sander. Burial will be at Hurricane Fork Cemetery.
