Dotty Faye (Wrinkle) Gravil

Dotty Faye Gravil passed away peacefully in her home February 27, 2024 with her family by her side. She was 73 years old. Dotty was born on February 12, 1951 in Gideon, MO to Joe Bryant Wrinkle and Dorothy Braden Wrinkle, who preceded her in death as well as siblings Betty, Linda, Lonnie, Donald, Timmy, and Mark. She is survived by Jack, Gary, Peggy Jo, Jimmy, Johnny, and Mike. 

Dotty was raised in the bootheel of Missouri. She married James Gravil in September of 1970. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2023. They raised 5 children in Bloomfield, MO. She is survived by her children, Tammy Jerls, Misty McDow, Andrea Gravil, James Gravil, and Shelly Caselton. She has 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren with one on its way. 

Dotty was a smart, witty, and fun loving lady. She was unwavering in her beliefs and protective of her loved ones with great tenacity. Spending time with her family was the greatest joy. She would often go fishing with her grandkids. She showed love through her cooking; especially through those special dishes no one could replicate. Singing Karaoke and playing Bingo with friends were a favorite pastime. Dotty would help out anyone she could if it was in her capabilities. She will be greatly missed by her family.  

The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
