Edward Joseph Dorrer

Edward Joseph Dorrer, "Boston", 73, of Marble Hill, Mo., died unexpectedly at his home on August 15, 2021.
Born on the seventh day of the seventh month (July 7, 1948), in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the seventh child of Anthony and Helen M. Walsh Dorrer.

  
He traveled and lived from sea to sea during his life, crossing the United States 16 times.  His livelihood was bartending or restaurant management.  He chose Marble Hill to settle 20 years ago, and volunteered at the Marble Hill Food Pantry, the Eagles Club, and enjoyed shooting matches.

He is survived by a favorite niece, Maryann Petrone Achenbach of North Falmouth, Mass.; and three special friends:  Norbert VanGennip, Larry Wiseheart and Dennis Willis.
No Memorial Service is scheduled.  Hutchings Funeral Chapel assisted with cremation.
