Edward Allen Moore, 82, of Jackson, passed away at his home on May 3, 2026. He was born in Arkansas, on September 23, 1943, to the late Loy and Lorine (Smith) Moore.
On August 18, 1961, in Jackson, Missouri, Edward Moore and Rebecca Gribler were united in marriage. Together, they shared 64 wonderful years, building a strong, beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and love. Ed was so proud to call Rebecca his wife. He was devoted to spending time with is family. Edward was a devoted member of Connection Point Church in Jackson.
Ed loved to hunt and go fishing. He was an avid welder, building smokers, trailers and woodworking. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting with his family and was known for his many talents such as crafting and manufacturing his own guns.
Survivors include: children, Edward “Eddie” (Regina) Moore Jr., Tim (Robin) Moore, Gordon (Melissa) Moore, and Cindy Stevens; brother: Raymond (Remynda) Moore; as well as a large and loving family of grandchildren: James (Jessica), Tish, Dustin (Donnellya), Tyler (Michelle), Cole, Tori (Jacob), Abigail (Ben), Rachel, Lauren, Michael (Shey), Jacob, Shane, Hannah (Cody), Kody (Faith), and Tori; great-grandchildren: Zach, Jordan, Jayden, Taylor, Emma, Mytthias, Thalia, Shiloh, Selah, Oaklynn, Harrison, Lincoln, Cora, Skyler, Saylor, Scarlett, Sterling, Everett, Sydney, Parker, Iris, Tymber, Kami, Mhyia, Kase, Miles, Analia, Tatum, Katrina, and Philip III; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Rebecca; parents; and a sister: Judy Talley.
