Edward John Wells

Edward John Wells, 65, of Chaffee, Missouri, passed away January 26, 2022, at Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Edward was born to the late Murphy and Cynthia Nadine (Warner) Wells.  He preferred a career doing many tasks, such as logging, working at a sawmill, trucking, and boring fiber optics.

Edward is survived by two sons; Matthew J. Wells of Perryville, MO, Zachary Green of Doniphan, MO; one daughter; Jennifer Wells of Perryville, MO; four brothers; Ernie ( Nadine) Wells, Tommy (Brenda) Wells both of Marble Hill, MO, Artie (Rhonda) Wells of Fruitland, MO, James Wells of Glen Allen, MO; six sisters; Betty (Carl) Yount, Kathy Padgett, Sarah (Vince) DeBrock, Tammy (Terry) Yount all of Marble Hill, MO, Linda (Donnie) Nanney of Glen Allen, MO, Cindy Nielsen of Scopus, MO; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by his twin sisters, Sharon and Vivian Wells.

Visitation will be held February 2, 2022, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm., at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO.  Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park near Marble Hill, MO.
