Edward “Eddie” Charles Douglas, 62, of Marble Hill, passed away on November 27, 2023, at the St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. Eddie was born on October 10, 1961, to the late Harold and Leona (Crites) Douglas, in Advance, MO.
He worked as line operator for Polyone Plastics for a number of years. Eddie enjoyed working on cars, tractors, motorcycles and piddling around the yard. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson any time he could get away. He also enjoyed yard work, he would get on his tractor and do odd things around the house just to keep busy. When the work had ended for the day, you could find him kicked back in the house playing the Xbox trying to beat the game Diablo 3.
On September 13, 2004, Eddie and Martha Dollins were united in marriage at Wappapello Lake at Eagle Point. She survives.
Survivors include his wife Martha Douglas of Marble Hill; one son: Ryan (Kristen) Coomer of Springfield; four daughters: Emily Douglas of Cape Girardeau, KayCee Douglas of Memphis, TN, Amber Douglas of Cape Girardeau, Lyndsey Dollins of Marble Hill; two sisters: Jeanie (Ethan) Foster of Allenville, Sandra (Tim) Matasci of Perryville; five grandchildren: Chase, Kahlesia, Koree, Kade and Bryson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Charlotte Douglas and Pam Petty.
The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO is assisting the family during this time. There have been no arrangements made at this time.
