Elaine (Peck) Wilkerson

Elaine (Peck) Wilkerson, 79, of Glen Allen, passed away on May 14, 2026, at her home. She was born on October 4, 1946, to the late Woodrow Peck and Ovella (Pope) Peck, in Flint, Michigan.

Elaine Peck and Dennis Wilkerson “Dink” were united in marriage on February 2, 1963. Dink passed away on February 15, 2003.

She had a variety of hobbies such as crocheting, doing yard work and tending flower beds. For several years, she owned and operated Elaine’s Jeans and Sweats, where she made several garments, shirts and hats.  Elaine loved people and was very devoted to her family. She loved family reunions and spending time with all the relatives and friends.  

Survivors include her son: Jimmy (Brenda) Wilkerson; siblings: Don (Doris) Peck, Joyce (Harold) White; grandchildren: David (Lindsey) Wilkerson, Daniel (Amber) Wilkerson; great grandchildren: Mason, Lennon, Logan, Luke, Loryn, Lenora; honorary grandchild: Megan (Curtis) Carter; honorary great grandchild: Ellie Carter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; stepson: Gary Herch; siblings: Bill Peck, Wilson Peck, Elois Floyd and Patricia Peck; and a great grandchild: Ava Wilkerson.

Services will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Pendergrass Funeral Home.  Visitation from 10:30 – 12:00. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm, with Pastor Ivan Dowd officiating.  Burial will follow at the Dexter Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Wilkerson, Daniel Wilkerson, Chad Melton, Jerry Wilkerson, Curtis Carter and Taylor Vanness.
