Gerald Paul Huff

Gerald Paul Huff, age 84, of Marble Hill, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

Born on April 25, 1941, Gerald was the son of the late Bob and Essie Cooper.

Gerald and Brenda (Hurst) Huff were united in marriage on October 26, 1968, and were blessed to share 57 years of marriage while building a beautiful life together, accompanied by the constant companionship of their little dog, Rambo.

Gerald earned his theology degree from Oakland City College and dedicated his life to ministry. His calling took him to serve congregations in Indiana and Kentucky before becoming pastor of Hahn Chapel General Baptist Church, where he faithfully served from 1991 until 2014. He later ministered at White Oak Baptist Church in Glen Allen.

Gerald was deeply respected by all who knew him and loved for his gentle spirit, wisdom, and steadfast faith. He had such a gift with his biblical knowledge. 

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Huff; his sister, Beth Daniels; Niece, Jeanie Eddleman-Back; Nephews, Clay Hurst, Thor Hurst, Chad Hurst, and Mark Matthews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Essie Cooper.

Services will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2025, at Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00pm, with Jack Faries officiating. Burial will follow at Baker Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Clay Hurst, Thor Hurst, Chad Hurst, Ashley Eddleman, Russ Zahner, and Scott Minson. 

 The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel.
