Glenda Myrl Francis, 78, of Grassy, MO, passed away on February 1, 2023 at her home. Glenda was born March 9, 1944, in Grassy, MO, to the late Claude and Mary (Shell) Francis.
She was a 1962 graduate of Dalhart High School in Dalhart, TX. Glenda attended the Marble Hill Church of Christ for many years. She worked at Lutesville Ford Motor Co. for nearly 40 years before she retired. Glenda loved crafts. She liked to scrapbook, take photographs, and make cards. In her younger years she was in a bowling league, and she would bowl any chance she could. She was also the queen of hiding things. Everywhere you looked, she would have pennies hidden.
Glenda was a staple in the community and she will truly be missed by all those she met.
Survivors include: three sisters: Almeda Cooper of Georgia, Vonda Hughes of Van Buren, MO, Beth Tuttle of Minnesota; one sister in law: Glenda Mae Francis; a number of nieces and nephews; and an abundance of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother: DeWayne Francis.
Pallbearers will be: David Cooper, Steven Francis, Mike Downs, Chris Hughes, John Hughes and Kenny Simmons. Honorary pallbearers are Pat Hughes, Rick Underwood and Kevin Boyer.
Services will be held at Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO, on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Bollinger County Memorial Park in Marble Hill, MO.
