Guy Fisher Obituary

Guy Allen Fisher, 76, of Sedgewickville, passed away peacefully at his home on May 5, 2026. He was born St. Louis, on June 2, 1949, to the late Roy Lee White and Maude Bohannon White. Guy was a high school graduate of Scott County Central and later attended two years of college. He was a retired welder of 37 years, manufacturing truck dump bodies in Tishomingo, MS.

In 1969, Guy joined the United States Marine Corps, where he obtained the rank of E-4 during his time until his honorable discharge in 1975. Guy served his country proudly during the Vietnam war. He later joined the Army National Guard and served from 1991 until 1995.

Guy Fisher and Rachel Ann Harrison were united in marriage on May 20th, 2006, in Selmer, TN. They celebrated nearly 20 years of marriage prior to Guy’s passing and made an abundance of memories. Guy and Ann shared a great passion for animals, especially their cats.

Mr. Fisher loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the University of Alabama football team. He had a great passion for bass fishing and being outdoors. Guy was always making those around him smile and feel a little better. His smile shined bright to those around him.

He is survived by his wife: Ann Fisher; children: Heather Pobst, Amanda Walter and Chad Fisher; and one sibling: Pat Plenge.

The Pendergrass Funeral Home is assisting the family with Mr. Fisher’s final wishes. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. A service will be held at a later date.
