Harley Joseph Horrell, 82, of Glennon, passed away on May 29, 2026, at the Stonebridge Senior Living Facility in Marble Hill. He was born on January 13, 1944, to the late Chris and Bertha (Elfrink) Horrell in Glennon, Missouri.
Harley Horrell and Joan Mallett were united in marriage on April 18, 1964, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Glennon. They celebrated nearly 60 years of marriage before her passing on January 24, 2024.
Mr. Horrell worked for 20 years at Florsheim Shoe factory, several years at Bargain Hound and prior to his retirement in 2013, he worked for the Dana Corporation. He enjoyed raising and tending his cattle, playing cards with his family and enjoyed his moments of rest. Harley loved his grandchildren and going to their ballgames.
He is survived by his sons: Glen (Rhonda) Horrell, Gary Horrell; sister: Betty (Bill) Debrock; grandchildren: Holt Horrell, Brooke (Bailey) Beggs, Samuel Horrell; one great granddaughter: Joni Beggs. Harley was preceded in death by his loving wife: Joan; his parents; siblings: Estel Horrell, Larry Horrell and Harold Horrell and his daughter in law: Karen Horrell.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Pendergrass Funeral Home. Parish Prayer will begin at 4:00 pm, visitation to follow until 8:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Glennon at 10:00 am. Fr. Vincent will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Holt Horrell, Samuel Horrell, Bailey Beggs, Chris Horrell, Calvin Horrell and Brian Horrell.
