Iziaha Lee Cowell gained his heavenly wings on June 13, 2024, at the age of 19. He was born on April 28, 2005, to Timothy Cowell and Heather Bailey, in Cape Girardeau. He attended Woodland High School in Marble Hill. Iziaha went to work alongside his grandpa at Zoellner Construction at the age of 16.
Known and loved by everyone he met, Iziaha never met a stranger and will always be remembered for his contagious smile and huge heart. He was devoted to his family and friends, and willing to do anything for anyone. He was always outdoors, and enjoyed deer, turkey, and squirrel hunting, and he loved going duck hunting most of all. Iziaha liked to be out riding four-wheelers or side-by-sides and was easily spotted burning tires and rolling smoke from his Duramax, while Koe Wetzel was blaring on the radio.
He was an old soul with a heart of gold and will be missed by everyone.
Iziaha is survived by his father: Timothy (Vanessa) Cowell; his mother: Heather (Jamie) Kirkpatrick; grandparents: Tharon Cowell, Theresa Cowell, Bobby (Eyvone) Cook; siblings: Triston Cowell, Bentley Adams, Adam Kirkpatrick, Destinee Cowell, Emma Cowell, Layla Wiseman, Chloe Bailey and Grace Kirkpatrick; countless friends, relatives and his best buddies.
Pallbearers will be: Tharon, Timothy, Tharon Jr, Brandon, Triston, Holden Cowell, Landon Baker, Rylee Stiltner, Preston Hulvey and Deven Moyers.
The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill is taking care of Iziaha’s arrangements. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Iziaha will be taken back home for a funeral service on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 11:00 am, at “The Shop” in Grassy. Burial will follow at the Grassy Friendship Cemetery. Meal will follow the burial at the K of C Hall in Leopold, Missouri.
