Jackie Renee (Welker) Long

Jacquline “Jackie” Renee Long, 57, of Marble Hill, MO, passed away October 21, 2022, in St. Louis, MO, at St. Louis University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Jackie was born March 9, 1965 in Marble Hill, MO, to the late Jake Welker and Betty Newell.

On May 7, 1983, Jackie and Eddie Long were united in marriage in Patton, MO, at Post Oak Methodist Church. Jackie and Eddie have three sons: Paul, Kyle and Toby. Eddie preceded Jackie in death, October 27, 2005.

She had been a Pharmacy Technician at Twin Cities Pharmacy in Marble Hill, MO for many years. Jackie was family-oriented lady. She loved being a grandma. She loved attending her children and grandchildren’s ballgames. She also liked to camp and travel when you could get her to tag along. Jackie also sang in the family band and attended Outreach Worship Center in Marble Hill, MO.

Survivors include: three sons: Paul (Angela) Long of Jackson, MO, Kyle (Ashley) Long of Patton, MO, Toby (Patrick & Brian Havice) Long of Randolph, VT; one brother: Rocky (Sandy) Welker of Marble Hill, MO; one sister: Rhonda (Terry) Massa of Marble Hill, MO; five grandchildren: Noah, Isaiah, Colton, Maci, Reese; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents: Jake and Betty Welker; her husband: Eddie Long; and one brother: Lloyd (Shirley) Kester.

Pallbearers: Rocky Welker, Matt Hinkle, Zach Welker, Jake Thele, Jordan Thele and Chad Ritter. Honorary Pallbearers will be her five grandchildren: Noah, Isaiah, Colton, Maci and Reese.

Services will be held at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO. Visitation will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 11:00 AM.

Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery.

Bro. Jerry Stevens and Joe Stevens will officiate.
