James Speth Obituary

James Marshall Speth, 73, of Glen Allen, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones. Born on February 14, 1952, in Logansport, Indiana, James lived a full and generous life devoted to his family and friends.

James was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Gisela (Jovanovic) Speth. They would have celebrated 53 years of marriage this coming November, a union built on deep friendship, unwavering support, and shared joy.

After his service, he became a well-known face in Glen Allen as the local M&G Gas man for 15 years. Always ready to lend a hand, James never met a stranger. His warmth and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He had a deep love for fishing, restoring old cars, and above all spending time with his family. His kindness, humor, and stories will be missed around every dinner table and driveway.
