Jeffrey Wayne Norwood

Jeffrey Wayne Norwood, 53, of Marble Hill, MO, passed away on April 4th, 2023 at his home. He was born on March 29, 1970 in Benton, Arkansas.

He was a 1988 high school graduate from Mountain Home Arkansas. Jeffrey joined the United States Navy in 1988 and remained until 1992. While serving his country in the US Navy, Jeffrey was on the Abraham Lincoln. Jeffrey worked in HVAC for most of his life, after his naval services.

Jeffrey loved to deer and turkey hunt. He was an outdoorsman, he loved to float the Buffalo River and drive his jeep on adventures. He enjoyed spending a lot of time with his family and grandkids.

Survivors include his parents: Wayne (Karen) Norwood and Diana Eaker Norwood; two sons: Brian (Paige) Norwood and Kyle (Cala) Norwood of Senatobia, MS; one daughter: Cheyenne Norwood of Senatobia, MS; one brother: Jason Norwood of Marble Hill, MO; one sister: Jenni Norwood; and six grandchildren: Aiden, Allison, Hannah, Nolan, Noah and Olivia Norwood.

The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel of Marble Hill, MO is assisting the family with Jeffrey’s final wishes. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Hahn’s Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri.  Burial will conclude his wishes at the Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO, with full military honors at a later date.
