Jennifer Dawn (Collins) Pannell, 54, of Sikeston, passed away on February 2, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones at her home. She was born on October 29, 1971, to Dennis and Sharon Collins, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Jennifer loved spending time with her nephews and treasured every moment she was able to share with them. She was creative and crafty, enjoying making and designing things whenever inspiration struck. Jennifer loved shopping, especially trips to Hobby Lobby and Menards. She was also known for her cooking — her chicken and dumplins and red velvet cake were the best and often requested by family and friends.
Family was a huge part of Jennifer’s life. When she loved someone, she loved them fiercely. She always wanted to make sure her people were taken care of, well fed, and surrounded by love.
Survivors include: her husband, Randy Pannell; parents: Dennis and Sharon Collins; brother: Justin (Jackie) Collins; nephews: Austin and Koleby (Zoie) Collins; niece: Sylvia Marie Adell Collins and Sarah Burt; aunts and uncles: Wanda (Lindell) Seabaugh, Charlie (late Carolyn) Smith, Kathy (Don) Cook, Brenda (Norman) Holweg, Roger (Brenda) Collins, Gary (Roxann) Collins, Brad (Tina) Collins, Betty (Jess) Rambo, special second mom and dad: David (Randy) Markham.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: W. Jay (Adell) Garland, Raymond (Sylvia) Collins; uncle: Timothy Collins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. A special prayer and song will conclude the visitation at 7:00 pm, by Bro. Fred Ritter.
