Joe Earl Barker Sr.

Joe Earl Barker Sr., 78, passed away on February 10, 2025, at the Stonebridge Senior Living Facility in Marble Hill. He was born on May 7, 1946, in Kennett, to the late James Elbert Barker and Bertha Gertrude Goad.

He loved to ride horses with his friends in his younger years and traveled around the country in his later years.

He is survived by his daughter: Carrie Seppelfrick; brother: James A. Barker Sr. of Glen Allen; sisters: Linda (Joe) Russell of Glen Allen, Brenda (Bill) Miller of Marble Hill; grandchildren: Alexa Tansor, Deandra Ruff, Erron Ruff, Adam (Carly) Ruff, Connor Seppelfrick; great grandchildren: Landyn Tansor, Annalyssa Ruff, Ethan Ruff, Cason Ruff, Adley Ruff.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; son: Joe E. Barker Jr.; siblings: Wanda Cooper, Donald Barker and Clinton D. Barker.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel is in charge of Joe’s arrangements.
