Joyce Marie (Tindall) McCormick, 82, of Marble Hill, passed away on May 22, 2026, at the Stonebridge Senior Living Facility. She was born on May 5, 1944: Cinco-de-Myo, to the late Joseph and Glendene Olivia (Collins) Tindall, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a graduate of Rittenour High School in Overland, Missouri, where she was awarded an art scholarship. She had a great love for painting and crafting was very artistic throughout her life.
She liked to play guitar and loved the ocean. Flamingo décor was a staple in her home. Joyce loved her children and her grandchildren deeply. She was a very kind and loving lady, who always made those around her feel welcomed. Joyce had a great love for her little Chihuahua, Moe.
Joyce’s favorite scripture was from Proverbs 31:25-28: “Strength and honor are her clothing. She opens her mouth with wisdom and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. Her children rise up and call her blessed.”
She is survived by her children: Gerald Bryan McCormick, Cara Lee McCormick and Joanne Marie Griffin; grandchildren: Lyndsey Cox, Inty McCormick and Joseph McCormick; great grandchildren: Sophia and Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her granddaughter: Jacquelyn Kraft.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at McGee New Hope Cemetery. The Pendergrass Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
