June Elizabeth Werchow, 80, of Marble Hill, passed away on July 16, 2024, at the Stonebridge Nursing Facility. She was born on June 8, 1944, in Grey Ridge, Missouri, to the late Ira and Martha (George) Waldo. June graduated from Central High School in St. Louis, and then achieved a degree as a medical secretary.
Ms. Werchow enjoyed reading. She and her son Fred worked with the Ringling Brothers Circus for several years. This career gave her the opportunity to do what she loved, and that was sightseeing and traveling. Throughout her years with Ringling Brothers, she traveled through 30 states, 96 cities and 2 countries. She always enjoyed the next town and all there was to see.
June is survived by her son, Fred Werchow of Marble Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Fred Werchow; brothers: Clifford, Charles, and George Waldo.
Ms. June is under the care of the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. No services have been made at this time.
