Justin Michael Seiler passed away on June 3, 2026, at the age of 19.
Born on May 9, 2007, in Mexico, Missouri, Justin was blessed through adoption to become the cherished son of John and Mary Helena (Stoverink) Seiler. Throughout his life, he brought joy and love to those around him with his gentle spirit, kind heart, and infectious happiness.
Justin enjoyed watching movies and cartoons of all kinds and found comfort in the routines and habits that were important to him. He was very detail-oriented and took great pride in caring for his belongings. One of his favorite possessions was his tablet, which was rarely far from his side and accompanied him wherever he went.
Those who knew Justin will remember him as a young man who was all heart. He was loving, compassionate, and genuinely cared for those around him. Justin lived life without worry and possessed a remarkable ability to find happiness in everyday moments. His favorite expressions, “why,” “why me,” and “uh oh,” brought smiles and laughter to family and friends and will be fondly remembered by all who loved him.
He is survived by his parents John and Mary Helena Seiler; siblings: AJ (Jessica Miller) Seiler, Carolyn (Ed) Curtis, Lena (Derek) Baker, Ginny Stroder, Jaykob Seiler, Jaylon Strong, Jo Aydelott; grandmother: Lori Swofford; nieces and nephew: Amber Baker, Lexi Stroder, Lando Curtis and Amara O’Neil.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at The Apostolic Promise Church in Cape Girardeau. Visitation from 10:00 - 12:00pm. Service to begin at 12:00pm.
