LaDonna Kay James, 75, of Marble Hill, passed away on March 14, 2026, at her home. She was born in St. Claire, Missouri, to the late Leroy Ernst and Donna Stovall, on June 10, 1950.
LaDonna and John James were united in marriage on January 6, 1968, near Burfordville. They recently celebrated 58 years together. The enjoyed going fishing and camping together. LaDonna and John published a book called “Bollinger County Cemetery’s”.
Mrs. James enjoyed artifacts, especially arrowheads and fossils. She also had a great like to crafting and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband: John James; sons: David James, Donnie (Tonya) James; sister: Nancy Camper; grandchildren: Jody Scherer, Katy James, Amber Ford, Dimitri James, Conner James, Madison Massey, Tahara James; great grandchildren: Lucas, Westen and Chandler.
Pallbearers will be Jody Scherer, Dimitri James, Conner James, Matt Ford, Nate Massey and Amber James.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Baker Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
Graveside Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am, with Bro. Ray Webb officiating.
The Pendergrass Funeral Home is assisting the family with LaDonna’s final wishes.
