Larry Dale Campbell, 61, of Marble Hill, passed away at his home on July 18, 2025, surrounded by is family and friends. He was born on November 22, 1963, to the late Dale and Edna Cook, in Cape Girardeau.
Larry followed a subtle family tradition of working on the riverboat. He spent 18 years as a Chief Engineer on the riverboat, just as his brothers and father before him.
He loved to go camping with his family and friends. Spending time floating the rivers, fishing, and enjoying those get-togethers he cherished so much.
He is survived by his significant other of 29 years: Sheila Stause; sons: Larry Campbell, Joey Campbell, Joey Stause and Kelly Stause; sibings: David, JC, Bill and Dan Campbell, Susan Cook; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather: Milton Lincoln; brother: Ralph Campbell.
He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
