Linda Irene Lincoln, 75, of Marble Hill, Mo., passed away at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo., on Jan. 31, 2022. Born near Marble Hill on July 25, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Odie and Anna Mae Cook Douglas. She and James Robert Lincoln were united in marriage on March 8, 1969, He survives.
Linda had a love and passion for flowers, as well as her love for Jesus. She would praise Him even in her lowest of lows and storms of life. Family and friends called her a special person whose smile would light up a room. She had worked for Paramount Headwear, but retired to devote herself to her family.
Besides her husband, survivors include three sons: Robert "Nute" (Carla) Lincoln and Roger Lincoln of Scopus, Mo., and Stasey "Buck" (Lisa) Lincoln of Marble Hill; a brother, Odie "Bud" Douglas of Marble Hill; two sisters: Brenda "Sissy" Kirkpatrick and Janet (Jerry) Howell, both of Marble Hill; ten grandchildren: Casey Masters, Carrie Lincoln, Christie Arnold, Anna Mae Lincoln, Heather Blair, Anthony Blair, David Schoerer, D.J. Dunn, Brandee Lincoln, and Derek Lincoln;11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much..
A brother, Allan "Butch" Douglas and a nephew, Mike Douglas, predeceased her.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the Revs. Kevin Stroup and Tommy Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Patton, Mo.
