Margaret Ann (Fox) Schleipfer

Margaret Ann (Fox) Schleipfer, 57, of Centralia, IL, passed away November 1, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born August 31, 1965, in Sikeston, MO, to the late Bob Fox and Rosemary (Chronister) Fox.

She was a 1983 graduate of Woodland High School in Marble Hill, MO. She achieved a degree in nursing and went on to work as a registered nurse for Warren G. Murray Center in Centralia, IL. She dearly enjoyed her career as a nurse.

Margaret loved her family and her grandchildren very much. She enjoyed her family time with good conversations. She loved to go fishing and go on trips with her friends. She loved to see the leaves change colors in the fall each year. She was very fond of her dog, “Bell”, and she sure loved her Jeep.

She is survived by her son: Matthew (Ellen) Fox of Troy, IL; one brother: Bobby Fox of Marble Hill, MO; three sisters: Mary (Tom) Cagle of Centralia, IL, Hester (Brad) Bowen of Marble Hill, MO, Robin (Randy) Proffer of Marble Hill, MO; one brother-in-law: Larry Welker; and two grandchildren: Evan and Madeyln Fox.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents: Bob and Rosemary Fox; and one sister: Jane Welker.

Services will be held at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO. Visitation will be Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Glen Allen Cemetery.
