Marilyn Dale (Stilts) Stilts

Marilyn Dale Stilts, 78, of McGee, Mo., died near her home on August 13, 2021.  Born on January 9, 1943, in McGee, Mo., she was the daughter of Henry Dale and Edna Omega Staats Stilts.

She working as a bookkeeper for companies and later continued her profession working for herself.  She enjoyed painting and other crafts, and even started a jewelry business, displaying her creativity.  Folks said she could "sing like a bird" or an angel.  She preserved her garden produce and baked delicious rhubarb pie.

Marilyn was the mother of four children:  Paul Timothy (Jolie) Grant, Lisa Grant Strehlow and Julia Park Wiblin.  Her first-born, Paul Matthew Grant, died at two months of age.  

She is also survived by the love of her life, her husband, Oren Pollock; a brother, David Stilts; a sister, Edna Martin; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  All will miss her.

A graveside service will be planned at a later date.
