Martha Marie Evans

Martha Marie Evans, 60, of Dexter, MO, passed away January 8, 2023 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Martha was born November 22, 1962 in Cape Girardeau, MO, to the late Paul and Helen (Fowler) Evans.

Martha was a stay-at-home mom, who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to read James Patterson books. She had taken up an interest in flowers, sunflowers were her favorite. If you ask anyone in the family, she also loved to boss everyone around.

Survivors include three sons: Anthony (Teresa Kilmer) Evans of Sikeston, MO, Lionel Alday of Odessa, TX, Manuel (Mindy) Alday of Odessa, TX; one daughter: Christina (Randy) Parker; one sister: Paula (William) McCoy of Dexter, MO; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Jessica Eden; two sisters: Jenny Long and Gracie Evans.

Services have not been made at this time. Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family during this difficult time.
