Mary Lee Pogue. 79, of Marble Hill, Mo., died at her home on August 14, 2021. Born in Cape Girardeau, Mo., on June 30, 1942, she was the daughter of Marion Troy and Opal Lee Nanney Davault.
She worked many years in local hat factories, first at Paramont Hatwear in Marble Hill and then Henschel Manufacturing in Sedgewickville, Mo. In her spare time she grew flowers and quilted. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and attended Christian Family Fellowship with her family.
She is survived by three children: Randy (Shannan) Pogue of Marble Hill, Teresa (Bill) McCormick, and Sheila (David) Brown, all of Marble Hill; a sister-in-law, Norma Davault of Granite City, Ill; six grandchildren: Matt McCormick, Alethea Elbrecht, Chris Brown, Josh Brown, Kyle Brown, and Hunter Pogue; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bob Davault.
Visitation and funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Her son-in-law, Rev. Bill McCormick, will conduct the services. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
