Mary Ann Thompson
A Christian woman, Was Born March 16, 1944 and lived until September 2, 2025 when she went home to our Father. She was the eldest sibling and is preceded in death by her father Ralph M. Thompson, her mother Lillian "Alma" Thompson, one sister Diana Lukefahr, and one grandson in law Joshua Boyer.
She is survived by one sister Donna (Leonard "Shorty") Hudson, and six brothers David (Audrey) Thompson, Clark Thompson, Jim (Vickie) Thompson, Stanley (Cindy) Thompson, Danny (Cathy) Thompson, Lonnie (Diana) Thompson. Two children James "Randy" (Stef) Brewer and Machelle "Renee" (Todd) Althar. Five Granddaughters Dannell Field (Casey Duerr), Courtney (Dustin) Peer, Megan (Jake) Boyer Sievers, Alyson Field, Samantha Field (Will Ashlock). Five great grandchildren Ashka, Ryker, Silas, Myka, and Phoenix. Along with many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann was born in St. Louis Missouri after traveling throughout her childhood with her military family she finished school in Perryville, MO. She was a woman of great work ethic, meekness, and kindness. She enjoyed working with food through several jobs during her life.
Wherever she went she would find the beauty in ordinary moments, objects, nature, or any subtle thing. She had a quick wit and a humor that could only have manifested from helping raise her siblings. She was an excellent card player, painter, quilter, needle worker, and general crafter with a mind full of imagination. Her love of animals was a true inspiration for others.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks you to donate in Mary Ann's honor to your local animal shelter.
Interment of her ashes will at White Water Christian Cemetery.
There will be a celebration of life for Mary Ann October 18, 2025 at Randy's home.
