Melodie Mae Allan, 67, of Brownwood, MO, passed away February 10, 2023 at her home. She was born November 13, 1955, in Wyatt, MO, to the late Marvin and Dorothy (Coleman) Knupp.
On April 30, 1985, James Allan and Melodie Knupp were united in marriage at the Rose Gardens in Austin, Texas. Melodie was a homemaker, housewife and loving mother to her family. She loved family gatherings and spending time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to watch old western movies on tv. When the weather was nice, she loved to go to auctions, yardsales and go fishing.
Survivors include: her husband: James Allan of Brownwood, MO; three daughters: Brandy Lynn Reynolds of Puxico, MO, Sandy Mae Lemons of Cape Girardeau, MO, Stacey Hebert of Louisiana; two brothers: Kenneth Knupp, Larry Fredricks, both of Anniston, MO; two sisters: Rhonda Knupp of East Prairie, MO, Tammy Achter of Anniston, MO; five grandchildren: James and Julia Scherer, Brent Jones, Cierra Bowles, Nickolas Lemons; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM.
